The Law School community is working hard to overcome unprecedented challenges and help our students thrive in this new environment.
Last week, we successfully navigated the biggest immediate challenge to our students and faculty — moving to online instruction mid-semester — and we did it by working together.
While it’s true webcam chats fail to fully replicate the experience of face-to-face interaction, we are proud to continue offering a great educational experience adapted to new platforms for our students. We will complete this semester successfully!
We are grateful to the Texas Tech Law School Foundation and its generous donors for providing the funds to purchase laptops, microphones, and webcams for all our students, faculty, and staff who needed these items to learn and work remotely. The availability of these funds meant we could act quickly to provide immediate assistance when it was needed most.
Many of you have asked how you can help students during these uncertain times. The fact you are thinking of our students at this moment speaks volumes of your kindness and the strength of our Law School family.
We will continue to provide training, resources, and support to assist our students, faculty, and staff. We will also continue finding reasons to smile in these challenging times.
We hope you and your families are well and finding moments of joy.
