Texas Tech’s Center for Biodefense, Law, and Public Policy held the 18th Annual Global Biosecurity Symposium on April 11 in the Lanier Auditorium.
The symposium featured presentations from eight Texas Tech law students on a variety of topics including vaccinations, biosurveillance, and The Global Health Security Agenda.
Professor Rick Rosen, Director of the Center for Military Law, delivered the keynote speech on The Military and Vaccines.
The symposium concluded with Associate Dean for Digital Learning and Graduate Education Victoria Sutton recognizing the outgoing Journal for Biosecurity, Biosafety, and Biodefense board of editors. The newly appointed 2019-20 board of editors were also introduced.
