Texas Tech Law’s award-winning negotiation team is poised for more acclaim with Rishi Batra’s appointment to the faculty as assistant professor.
In addition to teaching intellectual property and negotiation in the fall semester, Professor Batra will help coach Texas Tech Law’s negotiation team. Having previously coached one of Ohio State’s negotiation teams all the way to national semi-finals, Batra is thrilled to work with “enthusiastic” Red Raiders. He credits a negotiation class he took in law school for changing his life, and hopes to elicit similar sentiment among his new students.
After gradating cum laude from Harvard Law School, Batra designed software and coached a job-improvement group at Microsoft Corporation. He also has held positions at Whittier School of Law and the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University.
